Imagine that for some time the masculine and feminine energies have been balanced and the world is at peace. There is dance, song, rhythm and love. Then along comes a demon, angry he’s not included in the people’s fun. He disguises himself, pretending to be the people’s friend and becomes all powerful. Aided by ‘inspectors’, he creates wars and proclaims a new State. Too late, the masculine energy is fully in force and women are enslaved.

Fearful of prophecies that peace will return through seven female children and a new Dimension, the demon plans to selectively slaughter newly born girls. However, he has not counted on the people’s grief and cries for help which eventually re-awakens the Goddess energy...nor on the novice angels mission to earn their wings of change...nor on the love of Joe and Marigold...nor on seven pregnant women, each from a different culture, each chosen to bear a child who will lead the future back to that place of balance...but for now, are incarcerated in the demon’s Institution and hidden by warders bribed to hide them...

This is their story. The age old story of the quest for good over evil...the dark and the light...the ultimate pursuit of balance and the deep individual and collective need for connection and peace.

‘creation rocks’ is Lynn’s first musical written to inspire a vision of world peace. ‘The concept is powerfully based on the ‘greatest biblical stories’ ever told. The music is emotionally stirring, full of humour and spiritually profound.’

Through being a member of Mercury Musical Developments, in the early stages of the musical’s development, Lynn work-shopped some scenes with the Central School of Speech and Drama and also got through to the second round of the Cardiff Festival for New Musicals. During the on-going process, Lynn has received positive feedback and encouragement to complete her work. A full scale production is envisaged with a large cast in the style of ‘Jesus Chris Superstar’ and ‘Les Miserable’
